Numbers are illustrative

Where an article shows revenue, occupancy, rates, or returns, those figures illustrate a method. They are not a forecast for your property. Short-term rental income varies with season, market, regulation, competition, and how well the place is run — and past results do not predict future ones.

Regulations go stale

Articles touching registration, permits, occupancy caps, or zoning carry the date the rule was checked and a link to the authority that set it. Rules change without notice, and a correct article can become wrong without being edited. Check the primary source.
